Weekend Thai Massage Course

We’re offering Thai massage 2-day course in person, on the 8-9th of May. This workshop serves as an amazing launchpad for those new to Thai massage. Great for couples who want to learn how to give and receive deep massage. The intuitive learning experience will awaken your curiosity, and help you to develop your natural ability to give massages, and offer the gift of healing touch to those you care about. 

You’ll be introduced to the tradition of Thai massage, effective and easy techniques covering the whole body, with real tips from practice. You’ll spend 6 hours each day (with lunch break) practicing in pairs in both roles, giving and receiving. Massage is given on the mat on the floor, enabling the giver to use bodyweight and gravity; and fully clothed, in comfortable pajama style or yoga wear covering arms and legs. Experience levels from 'never done it before' to 'I'm a massage practitioner' are all welcome. I invite you to bring a partner/a friend for the class, otherwise you can come and we’ll pair you.

About me: Elena Gutnikova, I'm a certified Thai massage practitioner (2013), and I’ve started teaching in 2016. I've trained beginners and spa professionals in Europe, Russia and Asia, and this year released my first online video course, aiming to teach the fundamentals of Thai massage in an easy to understand way that you can practice with a partner at home. I practice meditation and movement every day.

About my assistant: Purdey Fitzherbert, a painter and art teacher with a deep interest in healing and touch. She has studied Thai massage and therapeutic massage in both Thailand and London on and off from 2007.
