Located by the canal on Kingsland Road in East London, our first space has an estimated capacity of up to 20 people for dining and 40 people for networking and social events.

About the space

Our design brief was to create a space that was not only flexible but also sustainable and memorable. We left behind our preconceptions of what an office should look like and began to imagine a multi-use space that would transform from a greenhouse sanctuary during the day into an immersive theatre in the night.

Every component that we bring into the space is designed to be locally made, reused or recycled. Our vision is for the space to become a showroom for a more sustainable, affordable and multi-use approach to interior design and commercial asset management.

We are working with U-Build (CNC construction specialists) and First Call (event & theatre production) to design and renovate our space. U-Build aims to transform the way people think about buildings and the way they are built, by simplifying the construction process and enabling anyone to participate. First Call is a project management firm with access to over 200 skilled craftsman. Their experience working to tight deadlines in the events industry will be invaluable as we look to team up with landlords and property investors to open future coliving and multi-use commercial HoT spaces.

Architectural Structure

We are committed to making our space as affordable and accessible as possible. We charge between £80-160/hour for use of our Kingsland Road space, which is significantly lower than other comparable spaces in the area.

Our approach is to offer timeshares and discounted rates to organisations and events that align with our purpose and values. In some cases we would consider revenue sharing where we split the ticket sales so that you don't have to take on any upfront financial risk.

Please contact hello@hotspaces.org if you have any questions.

Downsize Your Office

Switch from an expensive monthly coworking membership to a flexible timeshare where you can hire out our HoT spaces on an hourly or daily basis.

As working from home increasingly becomes the norm, many small businesses are beginning to question the value of having a permanent office. Our timeshare model provides small businesses with access to better spaces for a lower overall monthly cost.

Co-create a unique experience

We collaborate with artists, musicians, wellness practitioners and chefs to host unique experiences in our spaces.

Instead of charging upfront, we agree a fair split of the ticket sales and help you to design and promote the event. This revenue sharing model allows us to make our spaces more accessible and affordable.
